Samsung has now named its refurbished Galaxy Note 7 smartphone as Samsung Galaxy Note FE. FE stands for Fandom Edition. The phone was unofficially touted as Galaxy Note 7R in the past. The model was approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently as well. The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 could cost between $400 and $500. It is expected that a total of 30 million handsets will be up for sale soon.
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Note FE will share same specs and design of its original Galaxy Note 7. The only main difference between the original and the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is smaller battery size. The refurbished version will be equipped with a 3200 mAh battery compared to the original 3500 mAh battery.
